Minhaj Youth League

A meeting of the Youth Employment Support Program, an initiative of Minhaj Youth League Karachi’s Department of Welfare, was held at Minhaj Library, Tariq Road, with program team member Muhammad Umair. The discussion focused on the initiative’s ongoing work, the use of its website and future collaboration to help young people access employment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by Sarim Noor, President of Minhaj Youth League Karachi; Muhammad Faizan Ijaz, General Secretary; Muhammad Tayab Madni, Deputy General Secretary and Head of the Youth Employment Support Program; and Muhammad Salman Sheikh, Secretary of Information and Social Media. Senior colleague Muhammad Anwar, President of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran Orangi Town, also attended with his son Ahmed Mustafa. Muhammad Umair participated as the program team member with whom the meeting was arranged to discuss his contribution and future cooperation.

Overview of the Program’s Website

During the meeting, Sarim Noor presented a detailed overview of the program’s website and explained how it can support connections between job seekers and employers. The review covered how candidates can submit their CVs and how employers can provide details of available positions. Participants discussed how these contributions can help the team connect young people with opportunities relevant to their skills and experience.

Engagement with Companies and Employers

The participants also discussed ways to involve companies and other employers in the program. The consultation focused on encouraging them to share employment opportunities and cooperate with the team in helping suitable candidates access those opportunities.

Muhammad Umair will contribute to these efforts by helping identify opportunities within his own field and across other sectors, and by supporting young people in their search for employment.

Future Direction

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advance the Youth Employment Support Program through cooperation and coordinated efforts. Participants emphasized working together to expand access to employment opportunities and enable more young people to benefit from the initiative.
